One-day adventure holidays for children and young people

One-day coach or city trips and activity weeks during the Easter, Whitsun, summer and Christmas holidays for children and young people aged 5 to 14.

Description

Children and young people discover lots of great excursion destinations on the exciting coach trips. Animal and nature experiences, action and creative programmes as well as interactive tours are on offer.

The city trips lead to equally exciting excursions in and around Munich. The only difference to the coach trips is that these use public transport.

During the action weeks, city trips can be booked for five, four or three days (no public holidays) at a time - the focus is always on a specific theme throughout the week.

Children and young people with disabilities and support needs have the option of preferential booking. Further information can be found in the current programme booklet.

This does not apply to ticket sales at advance booking offices.

The day trips organised by the City Youth Welfare Office are subsidised from the City of Munich budget. Therefore, only children and young people who live in the city area of Munich should benefit from this subsidy.

The bus trips start and end at the Munich Central Bus Station (ZOB), the city trips and action weeks start and end at Karl-Stützel-Platz or at the respective event location. You can find more information on this in the current programme booklet.

The participation fee includes the cost of admission, sightseeing and lunch. If the children want to buy something extra, such as postcards, sweets or ice cream, they have to pay for this themselves. Pocket money of 2 euros is therefore sufficient, but not absolutely necessary.

Yes, the horses on which the children ride are all school horses, small horses or ponies that are used to children.

The childcare team will contact the parents immediately by telephone in the event of illness or accident. For this reason, it is essential that you can be reached by telephone by our team at all times.

No, these are provided by the City Youth Welfare Office. When swimming, children and young people must wear the City Youth Welfare Office's swimming caps to enable the carers to supervise them.

The City Youth Welfare Office's swimming regulations are very strict. This means that children must be registered with the lifeguard and one carer supervises a maximum of eight children in the water. In addition, all participants must have a declaration of consent for swimming.

Up to 40 children and young people on coach trips and up to 30 children and young people on city trips and action weeks.

40 children and young people are supervised by at least 5 carers. 30 children and young people are supervised by at least 4 carers. For children and young people with support needs, additional carers are deployed as required.

The carers are usually between 18 and 35 years old.

Most of the carers are young people who are in or have completed an educational training course. The carers complete a basic seminar at the municipal youth welfare office, where they are taught the most important knowledge about the duty of supervision, bathing regulations and pedagogy.

The duty to supervise children and young people begins when the children and young people are handed over to the carers and ends when they are handed over to their legal guardians.

The Youth Welfare Office is not liable for lost or damaged items. However, if a damaging party is identified, the City Youth Welfare Office will establish contact between the parents in order to assert claims for damages.

After the programme, within 14 days at the Stadtjugendamt, Fachgebiet Ferienangebote, Meindlstraße 16, 81373 München. Please register in advance on 089/233-33855.
