Reimbursement of fee reduction according to EKI-Plus

If your parent-child initiative receives benefits from the EKI funding model, you can apply for compensation for lost parental fees via EKI Plus.

Description

With EKI-Plus, parent-child initiatives can be reimbursed the difference between the new, reduced parental fees and the parental fees actually charged up to a maximum compensation amount.

Subsidised facilities receive a maximum compensation payment of €10 per child per month for the previously charged play or material fees.

In addition, fixed parental fees can be reduced again depending on income or a reduction can be made on the basis of siblings.

Prerequisites

  • The Parent-Child Initiative (EKI) participates in the EKI funding model.
  • The EKI submits an application to participate in EKI-Plus.
  • The Parent-Child Initiative charges the fees according to the new fee table in the EKI-Plus guideline from 1 January 2024.
  • The legal guardians will be informed about the possibilities of fee reductions before the children are admitted.
  • No additional fee will be charged for materials or play money.
  • No additional fees may be charged.
  • Further requirements can be found in the EKI-Plus guideline.
