Electric car hire at Hellabrunn Zoo

If you have limited mobility, you can borrow an electric scooter free of charge during your visit to Hellabrunn Zoo.

Description

After you have signed the hire application, you will receive instruction on the scooter from our staff. You can then use the scooter for up to three and a half hours. Every scooter is sanitised before it is hired out.

You will find the hire station between the Flamingo entrance and the Urwaldhaus. The Flamingo entrance is located diagonally opposite the Alemannenstraße bus stop.

About the project:
The Department of Labour and Economic Affairs supports the electric car hire scheme as part of the Munich Employment and Qualification Programme (MBQ). The project is organised by Anderwerk with the social enterprise Lernstatt Kfz and Elektro Feldkirchen, which employ long-term unemployed people for the service and thus pave the way back into working life for them. The project is being realised in close cooperation with Hellabrunn Zoo and the city's advisory council for the disabled.
