We receive complaints about commercial operations in the event of odour, noise or light pollution and check whether the complaint is justified.

Description

The Department for Climate and Environmental Protection receives complaints about commercial enterprises in the event of odour, noise or light pollution and checks whether the complaint is justified, including on site. Conditions can be imposed on the business in order to rectify the problems. The rectification of defects will be checked. The complainants will be informed of the outcome of the investigation.

No complaints about construction noise are accepted; the local building commission is responsible for this.
