Investment cost support for day-care centres

If you would like to receive an investment cost subsidy for non-urban day care centres, you can submit an application.

The application can be submitted for the new construction, purchase, conversion, extension or general refurbishment of crèche, kindergarten or after-school care places.

Prerequisites

  • No measures, such as awarding a contract or accepting an offer, have been taken before the City of Munich has approved the application.
  • The project must be pre-financed by you as the applicant.
  • You are the organiser and tenant or investor and owner of the property.
  • An operating licence has been promised.
  • A BayKiBiG facility will be created.
  • There is a need for the planned childcare places.
  • The rental agreement with an entry option in favour of the City of Munich or the limited personal easement according to the model of the City of Munich includes a commitment period for at least 25 years from the first commissioning.
  • All application documents must be submitted.
  • The current requirements for investment cost subsidies are met.

The application (original) must be signed in writing. The following points must be noted and stated:

  • Reason for application
  • Details of the applicant
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Type of facility
  • Number of places
  • Construction period (planned awards, start and end of construction)
  • Funding type and amount of the estimated total costs as well as the measure
