Description

Funding totalling 15,000 euros is available for the "Comic Art in Munich" project. The funding is awarded annually.

Prerequisites

until 10 March 2025, projects can be submitted that will be realised in Munich in 2025 and in which comics are to be presented as a form of artistic expression, e.g. as part of

For example in the context of

• Exhibitions
• Young comic seminars
• Drawing competitions
• Comic drawing events
• Film screenings

Publications can be funded if they are published in the form of comic exhibition catalogues or as accompanying publications for comic competitions or comic drawing events.

Required documents

• completed application form
• detailed project description
• as precise as possible details of the planned location and time
• Calculation
• Details of the project realisers or, in the case of exhibitions, also of the artists presented
• if applicable, details of organisations and institutions that support the project/exhibition applied for.
