The Seniors' Advisory Council acts as an elected representative of the interests of senior citizens in Munich:
- Publication of the newspaper "WIR über 60"
- Participation in the city council, district committees and all relevant bodies
- Representation of the interests of older citizens
- Cooperation with clubs and organisations, social associations and municipal departments.
The members of the Seniors' Advisory Council work on key topics in 6 specialised committees:
- Public relations, communication, information
- Organisation and supra-regional cooperation
- Assistance for the elderly, care and health
