New Media Project Scholarship - Visual Arts

If you are working on a project in the field of visual arts that particularly involves new technologies, you can apply for a project grant.

Description

Every two years, the City of Munich awards a 12,000 euro project grant for young art / new media with a focus on the visual arts.

This grant is intended to support a specific, ambitious art project that makes particular use of the possibilities offered by new media and technologies. Unconventional approaches are given special consideration in the awarding process.

A jury appointed by the City Council of the City of Munich develops its proposal for the award on the basis of the applications received, on which the City Council makes the final decision.

Closing date for entries was 9 March 2023, 23:59.

The Young Art / New Media project grant in the field of visual arts is awarded on a biennial basis.
